How To Submit Work

Dear Students,

Congratulations on creating your body of work.
To submit your work, follow the three steps below. Once you’ve completed your submission, a team of New-York Historical Society staff will review and post it to the Student Online Gallery page. We will feature your initials, information about you (the artist), your artist statement, a link to your online gallery, and an album cover–a photograph you’ve selected to represent your body of work.

Step 1. Post your photographs and captions in an online gallery.
Upload your photographs and captions to a third party photo sharing website such as Flickr or Picasa.

Step 2. Complete the Vergara’s Harlem Student Submission Form.
Click here to download the form. Fill out all the questions electronically and make sure to include a link to your online gallery.
Please make sure to check the box at the bottom of the form indicating you approve the terms listed. Save the form after completing it.

Step 3. Email your full submission to vergara@nyhistory.org
Include the completed form as an attachment.
Include a JPEG of your selected album cover in the email.
